Hey, everyone!

We’re happy to introduce our latest, and sometimes needed, forums. If they don’t even get used, so be it…but they are available at the link below. Signup is FREE and if were a past member then no worries, all accounts have been re-activated and in full standing.

If our home website goes down, our forums may be accessible.

I know I have a few followers that read from time to time my opinions on a specific video game that I like the call ‘Recaps’. Now I got something new for everyone who enjoys those but in audio format.

Two episodes have been released thus far and they can be found here. Youtube will be a main source of release for these audio episodes and they touch on the same topic as my text formatted entries. As always, I love open critasium. Feel free to let me know what you like or don’t like about a specific episode and I will continue to improve week after week.

I plan on releasing new episodes every other week. That may change once my work load slows down within the next upcoming weeks but that time gets spent on new content for EGS Productions. Nate and I are currently working on media coverage for upcoming comic conventions.

Besides that, nothing new to report. You can find all my achievement guides released every Monday, Video Of The Week on Tuesday, our weekly podcast on Wednesday and Nate’s ‘Achieve and Collect’ series on Friday. Thank you to all the followers and fans across the internet! You are much appreciated.

Talk with you soon,

Friendship… So what dose this mean to some or most people? In this particular situation, here is what it means to me.

Lets take a step a back in time for a moment. A moment that brings me back to the summer of 2013. I was taking a venture to Austin with knowing a minimal amount of people while sharing a hotel with them. All was fine but something happened to where I was contacted by someone through an internet forum that more hotel space was available to basically “crash” at their hotel room in while visiting that years convention called RTX. I contacted this person and once my roommate and I walked into the room, I was greeted with someone who became an instant friend. We shared similar likes, dislikes and spent most of the weeks time together while in a different town for the time being. That time being was short lived and within a years time, the friendship grew.

Skype, Facebook, texting and other forms social media contact became a normal for us. And within another summers time, we spent an entire week in the same apartment for the same convention that we met the previous year. Once again, the time spent together, along with other people, was simply too quick. So many memories were shared and some to be forgotten with the amounts of liquor that was consumed but the bond grew stronger.

Months later, this person who I met in the summer of last year is now ending the week of spending an entire week at my place. That’s right, I picked them up from the Detroit airport, I gave up my bed so they could be comfortable while sleeping and I even introduced them to the lifestyle I currently live. Don’t get me wrong with all this typing and emotion, we’re not dating. [Believe it or not, I am a hardcore gamer and am going steady. How funny right? lol] We are just a great example of what a friendship can become that is simply based off of pure randomness in this world.

SO IN CONCLUSION…

I’d say venture off to the unknown by making new friends and make others happy in this world because you never quite know what can happen in everyday life.

I know Facebook employees don’t care for DEA making fake accounts in order to control the drug trafficking in social media and also the NSA has been doing the same. Some argue that in doing so, it may go against some of the amendments rights. Is Facebook really shutting down coming November 15th?

Read this article and maybe it will help bring insight to the many of messages people may be receiving in their inboxes.

I have seen numerous of these messages for years while being a Facebook member. If Facebook dose shutdown, then another social media site will be the top contender. Facebook won’t be truly missed in my mind. It has caused more harm then good in most of peoples lives, including my own. Facebook is a great way to interact with family members from another states, old acquaintances from years past and social communication with ‘fan pages’ who have the same likes and believes that millions of people share.

Do you think Facebook will be shutdown November 15th or do you think it’s another “hoax” to spread the word of an individual and their beliefs? Post your comments in the section below!

That’s right, the podcast tab is fully updated. Even our new podcast can be found here as well!

While you get caught up on the latest podcasts, we will be updating our more current videos to our YouTube channel and our website.

Thanks for reading and checking out the links!

Happy gaming,
Steve

Hello again, all!

I wrote a blog saying that I would be tackling the podcast portion on our website but I focused my attention to the YouTube channel a bit.

Some emails have been consistently coming in and stating that it’s hard to find a specific video games that we did achievements for. By making separate playlists, you the subscriber will be updated when a video is uploaded to our channel and what playlist it can be found in. Still I plan on breaking down our videos into four different large playlists that cover the year in quarters. You can see that the quarter system is already being implemented as of two years ago.

Let us know how you like or don’t like it and what we can do to improve on it at: egsproductions@hotmail.com

Thanks for the read everyone and I will send another update soon!

Just a quick update on the site everyone.

As you may or may not of heard, our site is back up and running! We encountered a minor server issue but it’s smooth sailing now.

I spent all day updating the achievement guides for Call of Duty: Ghosts, rendered countless hours of new game footage from Nate and I, edited and released the podcast via Podomatic and just finishing up a few more files to be uploaded to YouTube. Not bad for a few hours, eh?

Look for the podcast tab to be updated on the site very soon. That is next on the list of many things that is coming to the site.

Stay tuned and keep gaming!

It’s been a long couple years that Leo has worked with Everyday Gaming Society. He introduced EGS’s first unboxing videos across our YouTube channel, made multiple appearances on our weekly podcast and even appeared in a few recap videos.

Leo is now taking the next step in his life and will no longer be around the EGS Productions office. He will be out of state and this will be the main cause of his absence. EGS will still continue to support Leo by leaving his videos online and letting users know how he doing through our weekly podcast. Fan mail still can be sent to Leo at, egsproductions@hotmail.com.

Look forward to our next podcast that will feature Leo, one last time, airing this Wednesday on iTunes.

Until next time guys and gals, keep your finger on the controller trigger and keep gaming.

-Steve

Yes, RTX is finally over. What were my personal thoughts and what were my job details as a guardian? Let me break it down…

First arriving in Austin, Texas is always a great feeling because I know from that point on, most of the people I encounter will be nice. Yes, not everyone over the course of the past week was not nice but for the majority, everyone was great.

Soon after retrieving my bag from baggage claim, I headed with my buddy Chris to the taxis and then I was on my way to the convention to start helping with some pre-RTX things. Those things I’m sorry that I can’t say what were specifically done but it was great seeing allot of my fellow guardians from last year. Once my guardian shirt and badge was received, I headed back to 6th street and unloaded my belongings. After that, it didn’t take to long for the drinks to start flowing into everyones blood stream. My main focus was to have one extremely fun night but that pretty much happened every day with the people I was staying with. From Cards Against Humanity to the new Transformers film to the endless solo cups, it was a blast before the event actually started. One thing I will say is not to get a place to rent on 6th street if you have to get up early each day. Reason why? Well, simply with all the bars going on until 2:30am, random people fighting, cop sirens, large group of people conversing outside your window, street sweepers and a few other things that happen, you will not get much sleep. Having to get up every morning at 5am was a task in itself. Not to mention having to work the next 12+hrs with minimum sleep.

Once Friday morning hit, it was time for the festivities to begin at the convention center for RTX. My title was security but I was all over the convention for the most part for all three days. From escorting Rooster Teeth staff, controlling autograph lines, testing Titanfall, seeing all the cospolay, it was a great time. I could go on and on about my experience but it was fantastic to say the very least. All in all, the convention went very smooth all three days considering some events that occurred.

A few highlights would have to be interacting with all the attendees throughout the weekend. Both at the con and on the streets of Austin. Podcasting with other RTX guardians and attendees, and Rooster Teeth staff member, Kathleen. Really far as good times go, there are way to many things to list.

In conclusion, I made a ton of new friends and you can expect me to come back for next years RTX. Yes, I plan on being with the security team but we shall see what happens once registration starts. For now, I’m heading back to Detroit with a 5hr plane delay in Austin. Time to edit some videos, look over the photos I took and remember the great times I had while in Texas. Thank you to everyone I met and spent time with over the past week. You will be missed in my heart for many months to come, or at least until the next RTX :D.
